Couples therapy starts with a three session assessment to gather information on you as a couple and is focused on improving your relationship. Whether you’ve been together for many years or are approaching the idea of marriage we work with you and your partner or spouse around concerns of conflict, communication, feelings of disconnection, recovery from affair, as well as other difficulties. 50-90 minute in person or online appointments are available.

Brianna Matchett is a Counselling Therapist with over half a decade of experience providing individual, couples, and family therapy.
Brianna is dedicated to cultivating a space where people feel genuinely heard and understood. She offers a comfortable space marked by empathy and acceptance in which her clients are welcomed to voice issues and concerns. Brianna understands that clients may desire to integrate spirituality into their therapy and she is willing to use her faith along with other spiritual resources to guide clients through difficulty and challenge.
Brianna has an integrative approach to counselling and draws upon a variety of approaches depending on the needs of her clients. She integrates Solution Focused Therapy, Narrative Therapy, and Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, but may also use other approaches such as Mindfulness, Family Systems Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing. Brianna primarily draws from the Gottman Method when working with couples and is Level 2 Certified in the Gottman Method approach.
She specializes in trauma/addiction, grief/loss, career and life transitions, and relationship counselling.
